The article goes on to mention that Hong Kong now sports the world’s third highest divorce rate at 41%. They trail only South Korea and the United States, proud inventor of the drive-thru wedding chapel.
Boy, am I relieved to know that superficiality and a lack of committment are no longer being hoarded here at home. It’s about time we started sharing our vast wealth with the world. Or perhaps this is simply a strategy for the furtherance of American imperialism, the subtle warfare of culture exportation. I wonder how this gets reflected in the trade deficit?
