Baldiness

The Hamilton-Norwood Scale

by Bald Man on May 16th, 2006

Did you know that male pattern baldness has it’s own measurement scale? It’s true. The Hamilton-Norwood Scale is used to measure the degree of hair loss.

I’d guess that I’m about a 6. What about you? How do you rate on the Hamilton-Norwood Scale?

Au contraire, dave! I, too, was probably a 3A in college, but with good genes and hard work I’m easily a 6 or 7 a mere decade later. ;)

Seriously, you assume hair loss is a bad thing, but if there is one serious message I try to communicate it is that this assumption is a lie that only serves to create self-doubt and a lighter wallet. Borrow a friends clippers, relax, and get on with living life.

i agree with bald man, whether you have hair, no hair, or ugly hair there are many other things to worry about it life. some people would give all there hair and never want it back to change their health condition, poverty condition, or blindness, cancer, etc. think of how short life is and enjoy being healthy, young, and alive. besides, skin heads look bad ass
