Seems as though I’ve been at this for a while now. How do I know? I’ve come across my first repeat event: the Fairtrade Fortnight. Way back in 2006March, when I was just beginning this thing I came across an article about Ms. Porter and her support of the event. Well, it’s just about […]

Earlier this week the Daily Record reported on a new Amnesty International campaign coming to Glasgow later in February. The campaign, Protect the Human, consists of a photo exhibit featuring celebrities, such as Chef Gordon Ramsay, Desperate Housewives star Dougray Scott, Simon Cowell and our very own Ms. Porter, “in everyday situations protesting at injustice.” […]

The Sunday Mirror has an exclusive with Ms. Porter about her recent experience filming So You Think You Can Nurse, a new reality show/documentary that put Gail in a real hospital. Here are a few snippits.
THE first thing I noticed was how understaffed the wards were. There was a distinct lack of beds and each […]

OK, so the Tesco Christmas article indicated that Ms. Porter would be appearing in a circus-themed reality show. Hospital? Circus? Sometimes it’s a toss up.
At any rate, the Sun is reporting that Gail had a hard time at moments during the shooting of Channel Five’s So You Think You Can Nurse. “Gail found herself in […]

The often imitated, never duplicated Hsien-Hsien Lei, (That’s a cloning joke.) sent me some scans of a Tesco feature on the lovely Ms. Porter. The article covers her infatuation with Christmas, her present romance, and her recent trip to Africa. (We’ve mentioned the this before. New to me, however, is an upcoming gig, a circus-themed […]

I’m sure there’s a good reason, a sensible reason, a reason why the failure to re-open two post offices in Belsize Park is worthy of a picket line. I just don’t know what that reason might be. Regardless, Ms. Porter was out so lend support to the cause.

Ms. Porter may be losing her baldness, but it appears her sense of humor is intact. This is London has more.

Yes, it seems our days of reporting on Ms. Porter are indeed coming to an end. If the Scotsman is to be believed, then Gail’s hair has almost completely regrown.
It’s been coming back for about four months. I was in Africa a few weeks ago with a charity, and when I got back about 70 […]

Not a lot of news on Ms. Porter lately. Sure she made the rounds and the Scottish BAFTAs, but there wasn’t much to that.
But here, way down the page, after what sounds like a justified complaint about the absence of a child’s discount at the theater - sorry, “theatre” - comes this tidbit:
Gail Porter is […]

Well, it’s been long coming; now it’s final. Our very own Ms. Porter has been granted a divorce from Dan Hipgrave.
Neither she nor the Toploader guitarist were present at the hearing. In a sworn statement Porter said: “I suffer from stress and depression aggravated by Dan’s behaviour.”
Mr Hipgrave, 30, agreed to end the five-year marriage […]
