Agassi Rolls to Wimbledon 3rd Round

In a straight set victory, Andre dismissed 2nd round challenger, Andreas Seppi of Italy, 6-4, 7-6 (7-2), 6-4. Next up, a much sterner test as Agassi faces down the #2 seed, Spaniard Rafael Nadal, a five-set winner over Robert Kendrick.

Agassi’s Wimbledon Off To Good Start

Andre Agassi’s final Wimbledon appearance got off to a good start today. He defeated 1st Round opponent Boris Pashanski 2-6, 6-2. 6-4, 6-3. On the eve of the tournament, the “Rebel” announced he would be retiring at the conclusion of this year’s US Open. He faces Italian Andreas Seppi in the 2nd Round.
