Official Baldiness Candidate Bows Out of the Presidential Race
As some of you know, last year one of the writers (Baldman) of Baldiness decided to back (at least on this blog) Fred Thompson for the Republican candidate for the 2008 presidential Race.
This week Fred Thompson (Official Baldiness Candidate) has bowed out of the 2008 race for President. Here is what he has to say on his website.
Today I have withdrawn my candidacy for President of the United States. I hope that my country and my party have benefited from our having made this effort. Jeri and I will always be grateful for the encouragement and friendship of so many wonderful people.
I know this is no longer breaking news, but blame it either on the fact that my computer is not working well - or the fact that I am canadian - and american politics just don’t hold my attention, like they should.
I hope Mr Thompson can find some time to relax a bit before he returns back to Law and Order- or wherever he came from.
