Mr Potato Head - A Great Role Model

It’s never too early to encourage children to embrace the differences we all have. I think sameness is a big crock! The differences we have, are what make us….us! I think the Hasbro company has created a toy (albeit several decades old) that shows us how great it is to be different. Mr Potato Head rocks it!
Earlier this year, Hasbro created a new version to correspond with the opening of the Spiderman 3 movie. This “Spider Spud” can become “Peter Parker Potato” when the villains have all been put to rest. It’s hard work being a superhero, he deserves to unwind a little.
Your kid + spud can pretend to fight crime, write up news stories and take pictures (here a kid’s camera would be a great addition as a gift), or embrace their inner Picasso - and put the spud’s face on upside down or all convoluted - which incidentally, was my favorite way to play with Mr. Potato Head.

Hi again!
I’ve know three girls/women who were losing or lost their hair because of this condition, so I’m signing up for the feed here. I look forward to learning more about it (and how to spell it). Kudos for having the bravery to come out to the i-world about your experiences.

Thanks Sherril,
welcome to baldiness. Losing your hair can happen for more reasons than just alopecia.
My hair loss is attributed to certain symptoms from CFS. Who knew…right?
I am glad to know that I will be having a “friend” hanging out here - amongst all of the “new to me” people.
