Minoxidil Inventor Honored for Community Service
From the Miami Herald comes an update on Dr. Guinter Kahn, the inventor of Minoxidil, aka Rogaine:

Kahn’s name is associated with the discovery of the revolutionary baldness treatment Minoxidil, also known as Rogaine, for which he won the Distinguished Inventor of the Year Award in 1988.But Kahn has provided mentorship and support to fledgling dermatologists entering the specialty and scholarships for minority and disadvantaged high school students aspiring for careers in the health professions and students enrolled in medical school. He gives a $1,000 scholarship annually through the King of Clubs.
He is in private practice at Parkway Medical Plaza in North Dade.
