If You Love Someone, Shave Your Head

That’s the lesson out of Charlotte. From the Charlotte Observer comes an op/ed piece about an essay contest called The Most Romantic Man in the South,. Here’s an excerpt from the winning entry.

“When my hair began falling out, he knew how ashamed I was feeling. When he shaved my head, he shaved his own head. Instead of crying about my own hair, we laughed together about our baldness. He cared nothing about his own appearance. He just wanted me to feel comfortable, and I did. I felt comfortable when he purchased two wigs for me. I went to work with a beautiful wig. He went to work bald. That’s truly romantic.
