These pigs have been found in South America, Britain, Hungary, and Austria. Perhaps these animals could provide a new source for wigs. Have a look at some pictures that I found from […]

Jane Cohen has a lovely story in The Mirror about 8-year old Nikkita Gibson and her mom Louise, both of whom have alopecia. “I wish I had her courage. I still don’t feel comfortable going out without a wig.” Take the moment and read their story.

Time for some encouragement. Read up on Michelle Juehring’s story from the Quad-City Times.
Hair is not as important as I thought it was. Doing what feels right for me is.
My baldness is my badge of courage. Look at me! I’m fighting cancer! Join me in the fight!
When I look in the mirror, I don’t see […]

OK, let’s do a Monday Afternoon Warm Fuzzy, too. It is the Easter season, and that’s enough reason for me so celebrate acts of kindness and generosity… especially acts performed by kids. Here’s an article from the OC Register about Sami:
Seven-year-old Sami Kreeger bounced up and down in the oversized chair, smiling from ear to […]
