A Gift of Hair

It’s the Christmas season, and signs of kindness are essential. I particularly enjoy stories like this one from the Naperville Sun.
Too often we hear only about the greed: Black Friday Stampedes; fights and extortion-like auctions for the season’s hot toys. This darker elements need to be driven back by brighter stories of generosity and kindness. […]

Children Pay Price for Hair Trade

I came across this story about the Indian hair trade, and today seems like a good day to go into it.
I like to have my fun here at Baldiness.com. I joke about lasers and the other crap foisted on people to help them regrow hair. I’ve developed a certain infatuation for Ms. Gail Porter, who […]

Honey Porter and Pooh Bear

Just a quick one on the Gail Porter watch. The Epoch Times has this nice photo of Gail’s daughter, Honey, giving Winnie the Pooh a smooch both to launch the UK’s National Cuddle Day and also to celebrate Pooh’s 80th birthday. First picture I’ve seen of the younger Ms. Porter. She seems a sweet little […]

And the winners are … Courtenay Crucil of Dover secondary and Jessa McGregor, of Nanaimo District secondary school.
Both graduating students were recognized with cash entrance awards from the Millennium Foundation this month for leadership and outstanding […]
