Bald Is Beautiful
“I’ve learned in the last year that bald is beautiful and people love you with or without hair.”
That alone is enough to warrant a mention here, but for those of you struggling with chemotherapy related hair loss, you’ll want to read all of Jane Younce’s column. Ms. Younce is a survivor of ovarian cancer, and she is sharing a few lessons learned during her trials. Here’s another one specifically related to our little niche:
“I’ve learned that real love, not the stuff you see in movies or on soap operas, is my husband telling me I look beautiful while I am bald and vomiting”
