Bald Blogs #6: I Am Not Meant To Be Bald
Meet Ali, who blogs at “Do My Shoes Match?” She is a mother of four (including a set of twins). She is a Marine wife whose husband was wounded in Iraq. And, as if that weren’t enough, she is battling breast cancer. She popped up on my radar for her most recent post, excerpted here:
My hair has all fallen out, I don’t even have a little wisps of hair left I am bald and believe me it is an ugly sight. My head is odd shaped with no hair on it,thank god for my scarves and hats I need to keep this sucker covered as much as possible. When my girls see me with out something on my head they going around telling me mama’s hair went bye bye but dont worry Gmaw say it will be back. They are so funny when they try to be serious about it.
