Ancient Egyptian Hair Found!
You just never know what will turn up on eBay, do you?

From the article I glean that the 3 millennium old locks have been missing for a few decades. Seems a rather creepy thing to steal if you ask me. Nevertheless, the temptation proved too strong. Receiving the hair from his father one Jean-Michel Diebolt, having watched others make money selling everything from PS3’s to Beanie Babies to shoplifted clothing, thought to himself, “Eureka! I’ll sell my ill-gotten booty on these Internets, and become gilded thousandaire! Bwahahahaha!”
Bids starting at $2600? That’s only about 80-cents per year. I’d have thought the market for mummy hair would be stronger. Go figure…
Little did one realize the same global network of computers that facilitated his auction would undoubtedly possess an archival quality memory of the very crime that secured him his prize. Cursed Internets! If only those tubes had been clogged with poker chips, perhaps he would have gotten away with it. Alas… we shall never know.
