Shane Warne is an Australian cricketer who has been seen in print ads for Advanced Hair Studio and its product AHS-FP. Well, today the Advertising Standards Authority, the regulatory authority that governs advertising in Britain, spoke out and said the advertisements should be banned.

Here’s an overview of the treatment options for hair loss presented with flair by Cecil Adams. All you need to see to know he’s got a sense of humor is a summary list of the four available treatments:
Castration.
Minoxidil.
Finasteride.
Hair transplants, etc.
Anyone who even puts castration in the list of potential remedies has… well… balls. :)

Here at Science Museum are some quotes and facts on the recent developments in hair regeneration…. and more importantly some pretty cool photos. About half way down the page is one showing the stem cells, dyed blue, that are actually responsible for the hair regeneration.
